Dave Lindgren
I am both a professional musician and educator. I was introduced to the wonderful world of music
decided to pursue the rhythmic side of things by joining the school orchestra in the percussion
career.
Since then David has studied music education and theory at Fullerton College then Cal State
Fullerton in sunny California. During his years of study, David played in various bands as a bassist to
various levels of success both in live performance and commercial television and film works. He
recently completed his first full film score for a release at Sundance film festival.
Currently Mr. Lindgren is a new resident of Ahwatukee Arizona while continuing his film scoring
activities and working as a studio bassist for two valley music studios. He also is the bassist for a
local Christian solo artist and percussionist for local theater productions. David looks forward to
accepting new students.

Music is, quite literally, my life. I’ve lived in Arizona my entire life, all 21 years. I’ve spent
most of it practicing music and started out on the piano, though that endeavor was short-lived.
I grew up in various choirs and in the fifth grade picked up the clarinet. I’ve been playing that
for 10 years, six of those years accompanied with a teacher. In the seventh grade I picked up
the Alto Saxophone to help my teacher, who happened to need an alto for the Jazz band. I
continued with the Alto into high school, playing the sax in the marching band and continuing
clarinet in concert band. I made the regional concert band 3 years and the all-state band 2
years. Currently I play clarinet in the orchestra at my church: Foothills Baptist Church, and
have played in that orchestra for 8 years. I hope to get a bit more involved in the community
bands and theaters around Ahwatukee and plan on continuing music and passing the love on to
my family.
I teach clarinet, saxophone, and beginning piano and voice. I cannot wait to share my love of music with you.
