It has come to our attention that many of you have slightly used (if used at all) music books
and instruments. Often the scenario is:
“Well, Johnny started on guitar, we bought this ½ size guitar… but he plays drums and piano
now.”
“Shelly studied keyboard for 2 years, we have a 61 key Casio, but would like to try guitar now.”
“Hey, Rhonda, Fred is SO enjoying his keyboard lessons, but he wants a piano now, instead of
using his 61 key Yamaha. Any suggestions?”
“Sarah was so impressed with Sabrina and the flute, she now wants to try it, but we don’t
have a flute.”
MUSIC BOOKS ARE OFTEN USED FOR AWHILE, POSSIBLY NOT COMPLETED, AS
STUDENTS “sachet” through the musical journey, or, they keep such great care of them, as
they progress, the books look almost NEW!!
We are beginning a new “arm” of our business in resale of instruments and music books.
Very simple:
INSTRUMENTS:
You, the seller, email a picture of your instrument(s) with a brief description and history
ALONG WITH the price you want to sell for. (if  you aren’t sure of how to price, we’ll be happy
to assist you in this)
You, the buyer, have opportunity to “try” an instrument for a discounted price which can lead
to a lifetime investment in musicality!
MUSIC BOOKS:
You, the seller, email the name, level and publisher of books (we will only take books in good
condition and NO PERMANENT markings -except the student’s name-, pencil markings are
fine.)
You, the buyer, have opportunity to buy music books (which typically retail @ $5.95
MINIMUM) at a discounted price as you invest in your musicality.

We post your items for you. We will store your items at the studio if you prefer. Upon resale,
the buyer pays Ahwatukee Music. Ahwatukee Music will retain 20% of instrument sale, 10% of
music books sale. We will pay you, the seller, direct.
